Tiles and GOOD NEWS ON COMPLETION DATE!!

Tile selection was today, so Phil and I set off to the city to make our choices. Wasn't too painful and I'm pretty happy with what we chose.

We are having larger matt finish ceramic tiles, the same floor tiles throughout the entire house, so only carpet is in bedrooms and lounge room. Darker colour tiles for the ensuite shower and main bathroom bath, and different feature tiles for both shower niches.

Colours-

Floortiles: Kronos Beige 450x450, matching Moleskin grout

Main bathroom: Shower tiles Kronos Beige 450x450, niche tiles Evening Emperor Dark 600x150, bath tiles Kronos Negro 450x450, Moleskin grout,

Ensuite: Shower tiles Kronos Negro 450x450, Moleskin grout, niche tiles Botticino 300x300.

Laundry: Kronos Beige 450x450, moleskin grout.

Main tile colours with bathroom vanity colours and paint colours:

Ensuite niche tiles (to contrast with dark shower):

Main bathroom niche tiles (to match dark bath and contrast with light shower):

And the good news - completion date has been moved forward from mid July to the END OF MAY!! Just 3months away!!!

All bricked up!!

The bricks are all finished, and look great! The brickies are sitll to come give them a clean off but I think they look pretty good now! Can't wait to see the Colorbond roof go on, hopefully this week - we are having Ironstone, which is a dark grey with a tinge of blue to it. How exciting, we're almost at lock-up!!!

Wrapped and roofed!

Got back from our camping holiday to discover we've been wrapped and roof trusses are all up! Bricks have even started in garage too!!

Here are some close-ups of the bricks, they are Austral Urban One 'Nougat' a creamy silvery colour - and the natural mortor matches my Dune windows perfectly!

I'm thinking this is a tap in the fridge space, which I'll be stoked about cos I forgot to ask them to put one in....can anyone confirm??
